My Books
Broadly speaking, I write redemption stories. I love crafting plots and characters that go through a massive reckoning and transformation throughout the story. In some cases, the character’s shift is mainly internal. In others the transformation is inside and out.
A story of learning to hope again and the bravery it takes to love after loss.
Both Danielle, recently widowed, and Alex, a recovering alcoholic, are responsible for releasing the wrecking balls that destroyed their lives. With no plan for the future, they seek refuge working to build a hospital in the solitude of one of the most remote parts of the world. In the dry heat of the desert coast, their paths cross and God uses each of them as unwitting conduits to show his love to the other. Little by little they experience redeeming grace. At times it is given from one another. Other times from the world around them. But eventually grace from themselves. Though with each act of God’s kindness, they must decide to face down the horrors of their wounds and swim with or against the current pulling them together.
